   6 This is an incomplete clone of Evernote designed to run on Linux.
   7 It is written in Java so it will also run on other platforms as well but the primary focus has been to try
   8 and get a usable environment for Linux.  While this is designed to work with Evernote, it is in no way
   9 connected with or supported by Evernote.  Any problems you encounter will not be corrected by them
  10 and, since this is GPL software, you are using this software at your own risk.

  14 Before trying to run this, please be sure you have Java 1.6 and QT Jambi 4.5 and later installed.
  15 Java will probably be installed via a package manager and you'll probably need to download
  16 QT Jambi from   http://qtjambi.sourceforge.net
  17 The only thing you need to do with Jambi is to have the files untarred to a directory.

  19 People have used this with both 64 & 32 bit versions of Linux as well as OpenJDK & Sun's Java
  20 and (so far) have not encountered any problems with these different environments.
